Bio – Robert Roeder
I was born in Angeles City, Philippines in 1968. Have very nice fond memories of the Philippines. The lovely weather the lovely beaches and nice people. My Great-grandfather/mother on my mom side were fisherman and farmers. They are from the Visaya Islands.

This is my mother Alicia. She was born a GI baby. Meaning her father was an American and was killed in the Korean war. So she never knew her father. At age 14 she became a model. Then she met my real father Lovelio Baison. He was in a band called the Five Hawkshe was the lead singer and mom was a go-go girl. His style of music was compared to James Brown. My mom and dad use to travel the orient- Okinawa, Vietnam, and Thailand to to perform. That was during the Vietnam War. She died tragically in a bizarre accident in 2003.
I arrived in California USA in 1976 when I was 8 years old. Lived most of my live in the Bay Area. . Since my family loved the beach (Water is still cold compared to Philippines) we lived in San Diego in 1978-1980. My step-father was in the military.
Then after graduating From Vallejo Senior High -Class of 87, I attended National Educational Center in Glendale, Arizona majoring in Associates Architectural Drafting Terminology and CAD. I have approximately 3 years of Autocad experience 9 months of it in an Architectural Firm doing the Airline Noise Insulation Project.
I’ve also done a remodel on a home in St. Helena, California. From redesigning the floor plan, dealing with building codes, submitting plans, and dealing with Building Inspector, Planning Commission and some Project Managing.
At age 21 I became a Naturalized American Citizen.
Would like to be employed with an Architectural Firm to utilize my creativity and hope to grow with the firm. My passion is Architecture. Would love to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. At age 39, I'm still trying to achive the American Dream.
