My name is Aaron Newsome and I was born in San Francisco then moved out to Vallejo when I was six. I continued to go to school in the city for another year since my mother worked there, we would commute every day by ferry. One of my main interests, which I have been involved with for a many years, is video games. I have been into video games since the Atari 2600 and early first and second generation arcade games like "Pacman", "Centepede", "Tron", "Rampage", and "Spy Hunter". I was hooked and since then I have bought the: "Atari 7800", "Nintendo", "Super Nintendo", "Sega Genisis", "Playstation", and "Playstation2". My brother owns a couple of other systems (Dreamcast and Gamecube) which gives me even more access to video games. I just can't get enough. Of course I have a computer and I'm now attending college and majoring in Digital Design and Graphics Technology. I really enjoy the class and so in the field I will be very content with my career.
Besides video games, I love watching movies, reading, and playing Role Playing Games (RPG) such as: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition, Warhammer, and even making up my own. I learn as much as I can about fictional story lines then I delve deep into the world that I am planning out and brain storm under different categories such as weapons and items, plot twists, map and area ideas, and what types of characters need to be in the game. Since there is so much involved in making a RPG's, most of the time I will create adventures here and there as opposed to an entire world.
As you can see I am very much into gaming and computer graphics and I believe that it's important for everyone to flex their imagination muscles and have fun in life. Do what you enjoy and if it's not impossible to do in real life you can find it in a book, a movie, a video game, or in your own imagination.
