“The DDGT 241 Class, The fourth and last semester in our two year A.S. Degree Program, was given the task to create a Video Using the Rube Goldberg Mechanism- “A Rube Goldberg Mechanism is a contraption, invention, device or apparatus that is deliberately over-engineered or overdone to perform a very simple task in a very complicated fashion, usually including a chain reaction. The expression is named after American cartoonist and inventor Rube Goldberg (1883–1970)”Wikipedia - This video utilizes all the skills they have learned during their time in the program. Everything in this video was created by the students themselves. The students came up with the concept and storyline of the video and utilized current technology. AutoCad, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk 3ds Max utilizing these programs and Skills they learned during the Program. DDGT- IMAGINE… CREATE… IT’S MORE THAN TECHNICAL DESIGN.”
